Fat injection is considered to be a very safe alternative to other foreign fillers, some of which carry allergic risks. Dr. Carman is a qualified Plastic Surgeon who has been specializing in fat injection procedures for over a decade, since the inception of since the inception of the procedure. It is particularly important that a fat-grafting procedure is performed by a physician who is experienced in fat injection, as not all fat cells survive in the fat injection procedure. Those fat cells that do survive will remain in the fat injection area permanently. Fat transfer experience is required to ensure that injected fat will deliver desired results.
